A Building Management System (BMS), also known as a Building Automation System, is a computer-based system that manages, controls, and monitors a building's mechanical and electrical equipment. This includes things like heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, and security systems to ensure optimal comfort and efficiency.
Future consumption forcast helps in optimizing the resources and decide the load required for energy trading.
Cloud-native solutions refer to applications or services that are designed and built specifically for cloud environments. They use cloud computing's scalable resources, take advantage of microservices for flexibility, and use containers for portability. They're easily managed, updated, and scaled, providing benefits in speed and performance.
Retrofitting solution is like upgrading your old bike with new parts to improve its performance, but for buildings or machines. It involves adding new technologies or features to existing systems to enhance their efficiency and sustainability, without completely replacing them, thus saving money and resources.
Pre-existing solutions are too expensive and highly OEM dependant. They are not cloud native and they don't provide ML-based predictions.
